Diane DeMarco, president of Marketing @ Work, has more years of experience than she's usually willing to admit to, in every facet of marketing and communications: corporate and small business marketing, internal communications, public relations, publications, advertising and marketing.
Her past experience includes serving as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Frederick based First Nationwide Mortgage Corporation. Prior to that she worked in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as Vice President of Marketing for Knutson Mortgage Corporation, and as Director of Public Relations and Promotions for NordicTrack, The Minneapolis Society for the Blind and Minneapolis Triple A.
Diane received B.S. degrees in Journalism and Food Science from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota, and completed significant coursework towards an MBA in Marketing at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD.
She served as a member of the Frederick County Commission for Women for five years, where she headed up the Marketing Committee and recently finished the "Status of Women in Frederick County" report.
She was also a member of the board of The Seton Center, Inc. in Emmitsburg, where she led the board’s marketing committee and the "Jump Start Your Job Search" program.
Diane is also a member of the Marketing Committee of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, and belongs to the Greater Frederick Advertising Federation, Women on the Move and the Women’s Business Network. She is active at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and serves as chair of the Social Ministry Committee.
