Diane DeMarco, Owner, founded Marketing @ Work in 2004 with the mission of providing high-quality marketing services to local and regional companies and organizations.
Diane has more years of experience than she’s usually willing to admit to, in every facet of marketing and communications: corporate and small business marketing, internal communications, public relations, publications, advertising and marketing. Prior to founding her marketing agency, she was Vice President of Marketing Communications for the Frederick-based First Nationwide Mortgage Corporation.
Diane is active in the community, and has served as Marketing Chair for the Appalachian Trail District, an Ambassador for the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Habitat for Humanity Frederick County Marketing Committee. She is a former board member of the Greater Frederick Advertising Federation, is past vice president and marketing chair for the Frederick County Commission For Women, and served two terms as president of her Spring Ridge Friends and Neighbors (FAN) club.
She was also a member of the board of The Seton Center, Inc. in Emmitsburg, where she led the board’s marketing committee and the “Jump Start Your Job Search” program.
Connie Hameedi, Creative Designer and Illustrator, is thoroughly versed in all facets of design from the conceptual to the final printed or visual piece. She uses Adobe as her primary tools for design and illustration. She has won awards for illustration and design from Print magazine, the Addys, and the National Federation of Press Women. She has a BFA in Graphics from the University of Washington.
Leah Thomas, Photographer and Social Media Coordinator, is a Frederick native who has done social media marketing and photography for a number of clients in New York and Frederick.
She studied Photography at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and received her BFA in the spring of 2015. Leah creates artwork independently as well as working as a Social Media Coordinator. She is a very creative, visually driven person who loves using social media. Instagram is her favorite platform.
When she’s not tapping on her iphone or behind the camera, Leah enjoys running, knitting and catching up with friends.
Ian Cordeño, our Website Development Consultant, has been working with Marketing @ Work on various website projects for seven-plus years. He provided support for the Mission of Mercy website, and design and development work for the Klaar College Consulting, Little Sparkie Electric, Launching College Success and Marketing @ Work websites. He also provides updates and support on websites for several other Marketing @ Work clients.
Additionally, he provides website and systems administrator support for clients in the U.S. and abroad, including the Africa Business Portal and the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra.
