Social media & the coronavirus
With everyone who can work from home now doing so, you may have a little more time to spend promoting your business on social media.
But what to post about and on what platforms?
Certainly let your clients know the status of your business. For example, for Little Sparkie Electric we posted on Facebook that they are an essential business, and will be available for commercial and residential services as needed.
For another client, Custom Imprints, we also sent out an e-newsletter advising customers that they’re open and available for orders, but people must first call for an appointment to pick up orders..

Wait – is Twitter dying? (No, but it’s much less important than Facebook!)
Instead of posting images of the ghastly-looking coronavirus, post photos of yourself hard at work. Explain how your business is continuing to serve customers, even at a distance. Talk about how employees are involved with helping nonprofits in the community.
